Join Sian every Tuesday for a 90 minute extended yoga practice at the beautiful Newton Meadow Cottages.

A blend of uplifting and joyful yoga asana (physical postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation and relaxation - designed to leave you feeling lighter, brighter and centred for your life. We will explore the different teachings of yogic philosophy and how to welcome these practices into our everyday lives. 

Yoga practices will be mixed level with options and variations for all - beginners are welcome.  Physical adjustments and assists also optional.

This introduction to gratitude workshop is perfect for beginners, those with a regular practise and those completely new to gratitude!

Across a 2hr workshop, we will build an understanding around the principles of gratitude, what gratitude derives from, and the many benefits a regular practise can have. We will explore different ways to practise in a friendly and relaxed environment, delicious refreshments provided. No experience necessary, just an open mind and heart to try something new.

Get creative, meet a community of like-minded people, and most importantly build up a beautiful new wellness ritual and watch as the goodness in your life glows a little bit brighter!

The Life Changing Art of Gratitude

Amazing workshop! Very informative and easy for beginners who are just starting to get into understanding gratitude. Lots of time to do some crafting and start a gratitude journal, continue on with one you’ve started or make a mood board or monthly plan! I will definitely be continuing on with what I’ve learned in the workshop in my daily life.

Wow! My first Dwtylife day retreat but I know it won’t be my last!  I went on my own and was welcomed by a wonderful group of women who had travelled far and wide and who each had a different story to tell. The entire day just felt like one big cosy sleepover - how beautiful that a group of strangers felt so comfortable around each other! Sian is so knowledgeable about happiness and gives you all the tools you need to start to build your own happiness, based off of lots of her own research and experience.  I loved having an opportunity to get creative and make a vision board, can’t remember the last time I got to cut, stick and draw! Finishing the day with a yoga practice really sealed the deal for the cosy vibes. Honourable mention to the lunch spread too - so yum!!!

OUR STORY

At the start of 2022, I wrote an affirmation in my journal. My goal for the year ahead was to simply spend more of my time doing things that make my heart sing. 

At the time, I didn’t realise the gravity of this statement. But as the months went by, my life began to fill up with different pastimes and practices that made my heart beam and my smile widen. I made decisions with intention, always keeping my affirmation in mind. By leaning into that which I loved, beautiful and unsuspected opportunities arose. 

I took the plunge and completed my 200hrs yoga teacher training, and began to run workshops on gratitude; two of the practices that have had the most profound impact on my life and wellbeing so far. 

I quickly identified that sharing my joy with the world, and helping others to explore theirs, only magnified these wonderful feelings and experiences for everyone involved. There lies tremendous power in connecting through common experience, and so in late 2022 I made it my mission to spread this message of love as far as I could. 

DWTYLIFE is the manifestation of this mission; and is inspired by the simple belief that we could all benefit from more joy, gratitude and presence in our lives.
